Ah, Los Angeles. To those, the large Southern Californian city is the epicenter of youthful pop culture, bright lights, and hopes and dreams. No one really has questioned the growing amount of churches and increasing body count; blame that on the gang warfare or whatever else the media is churning out to an ignorant public. No one wonders why the night seems so much more chillier, so ominous, nor of the rather peculiar people that one might encounter when the sun goes down, those with very strange smiles that do not seem to move like others do, that seem to lurk in the shadows. The fact of the matter is that there are things that have been with us since the dawn of mankind, watching and waiting to pounce. The things that go bump in the night are very real and this god forsaken city of plastic and glitter, of flash and Hollywood glamor has another name coined by the seedy demonic underbelly: Malum Urbis, or "city of evil." However the Powers That Be have leveled the playing field a bit in this gothic paradise - those granted with certain gifts ban together to fight back the rising demon population in the city. These are the things that "bump" back.

A classic tale of good versus evil, as old time itself. Which side will you choose?
